“Darcey Jean Faulkner born at two twenty, weight seven pounds six ounces. Mum and baby very well – more later. Matt. x”

Deep in the NY state snow the Turkey sees off three dear in a battle over some grain. A sort of ironic battle of the Christmas dinners. Looks like the Turkey won.

I learned yesterday that my friend, Russell Jones is dead. On the evening of Thursday December 4th Russell fell to his death from a 6th floor balcony in the block where he lived. Christmas Party #2

This Christmas party was a departmental party held at a local Indian restaurant, quite a nice modern place and not your average Indian restaurant. Complete with disco lights, Hindi dance troupe and karaoke system it was rather like a scene from the comedy series “The Office”. Not really our cup of tea. Phew!
