Oops He did it again
It seems that Prince Harry’s appearance at a fancy dress party in a Nazi Africa Corps uniform is causing quite a furore in the press and all over the internet. While ludicrous accusations of racism within the Royal Family abound I see it as little more that a little bit of punk from a rebellious young man who didn’t quite think through what his sartorial faux-par may start. Some good points on the subject here at Pravda.ru. Anyway, now there are calls from various thought-police types to ban the swastika altogether which I find rather reactionary. After all who knows what simplistic geometric polygon could be next? Your four-year old child could be sent home from school for a mindless doodle and branded, well who knows what? for the rest of their lives.
