A movie to avoid

With the cold-snap in full swing we decided to stay at home and enjoy a movie so we rented “The Chronicles of Riddick”. I didn’t expect anything more than light entertainment from this movie but I was not quite prepared for how truly bad it was. From the rather ropy special effects, the cliche story and the appalling script the whole thing played out like a rather bad video game scenario. The most intriguing thing about the whole film was the question “what was Dame Judy Dench doing in this movie?”, one can only suppose that she needed a new conservatory or something.
