Blah blah blah

So take a bunch of marketing boys down the pub and give them a crate of beer with the remit to come up with a load of silly words for things that happen around the office and then call the BBC and tell some naive reporter that the English language is mutating and bob’s your uncle you have free advertising for your hitherto unheard-of agency down at the Beeb. Brilliant! There must be a word for that too, milkedover, slyedup, suckered even?

Workers who sneak off for a coffee are ’sneakaccinos’ and mobile phone users are ‘yappies’, according to a new business dictionary.

The so-called Lexicon of Neologisms has been drawn up by etc.Venues, which provides places for business events, and about 500 of its clients.

With so much happening in the news you think they would be busy with something else?

  • Scuttletray - Gossip started by smokers outside an office.
  • Mochamess- Spilling coffee on a keyboard
  • Goodjobist - Someone doing their job well
  • Outdesk - Refusing to leave an office before colleagues
  • Wormcanner - Someone who stores up trouble

Bollox.
