Goodbye old friend

Its the end of an era and its time for me to say goodbye to a trusted old friend that is my Nikon Coolpix 2500 digital camera. It finally gave up the ghost after delivering a mighty 3742 digital photos over a period of three years and endured the most horrendous abuse from its butter-fingered owner, its remarkable that it lasted so long considering the roastings, freezings and drops its taken. It was a funky little camera with an eye-catching design, I must commend the boys at Nikon for that but it is looking a little dated by now and considering its features is rather bulky (well the march of technology moves relentlessly forward) so I’ll be looking for something more compact for my next camera, but that may be a long wait as the unemployed cannot countenance such indulgences.
