Hang on a minute, isn’t that …

On Thursday evening we met up with Angela and friends for a few drinks at Claridges when who should walk in but Liv Tyler with her husband and small entourage in tow. Being England everyone strenuously curtailed the urge to gawp, muttered under their breath to their guests “Hang on a minute, isn’t that …” and continued with their conversation. Strangely enough though, in spite of being married to an Englishman Ms. Tyler has not learnt this facet of English behaviour and proceeded to march up and down looking to see who was looking at her only to attract the attention of two small children. Silly girl.
