What Brings You Here

Looking at your site access logs can be quite revealing about what people are looking for when they come across your blog. Any pretension that I was any kind of authority on anything meaningful soon went up in a puff of blue smoke when I recently examined the search engine terms that have linked people to my posts. Over the last two months the top keywords were :

1. Killer Chicken.
2. School Violence.
3. TGI Fridays.

Tragic isn’t it? I’m officially an online authority on dangerous poultry.

My Web host company supplies the popular cPanel web management tool which includes graphical views of the access log stats. It also shows the search engine terms which linked to your site (by domain or sub-domain), I think it records the query string terms. They make amusing reading sometimes.
