Urban Weekend

I’ve been having one of those busy social kind of weekends mostly drinking and eating with friends and very nice it was too. The atmosphere in Cactus Blue is very lively of a Friday night with live DJs mixing a funky groove and the more down tempo jazz at the 606 Club was quite enriching Saturday night. So a weekend of genteel urban living juxed positioned quite ironically with my Sunday evening viewing of Lord of War, starring Nicolas Cage, a darkly humorous and tongue in cheek study of the international arms trade which got me thinking about the events of this week’s international news which normally I’d write about but I’m just feeling too relaxed to care.

Look 2w, I’m afraid you haven’t got what to takes to be a successful blogger, bloggers are all social misfits, manic depressives or alcoholics and frequently all four at the same time.
I think maybe you’re right so I’ll have to settle for being an unsuccessful blogger. Anyway, I have to dash as we’re hosting a dinner party tonight…
