Not sure that article is particularly relevant in this conflict as it refers to moving civilians into regions of conflict to use as shields. Nobody is doing that, the civilians already live there. Its military targets which are moving into civilian areas.

Has no-one read this paragraph of Article 50 of the Convention?

7. The presence or movements of the civilian population or individual civilians shall not be used to render certain points or areas immune from military operations, in particular in attempts to shield military objectives from attacks or to shield, favour or impede military operations. The Parties to the conflict shall not direct the movement of the civilian population or individual civilians in order to attempt to shield military objectives from attacks or to shield military operations.

Kevin,

I deliberately left this post open-ended however I have yet to receive a fatuous comment from a member of Hezbollah. [sigh] I guess they have other things to do right now.

AJ,

If you ever post such vulgar racist drivel on my blog again I will simply delete it.

On this occasion I am going to leave it simply so other passing bloggers can see what a poisonous-minded bigot you really are. If you ever had any viable argument to propose you undermined it with your vulgarity.

I guess Israel should just allow HZB to fire at them because they found a loop hole in the Geneva conventions?

These laws didn't take into account the potential inhumanity of the Islamic culture.

Who would put babies at risk like these subhuman Arabs? And the assmonkeys who live in Lebanon, can't figure it out.

Anyone who doesn't see this is a complete retard.

BEAJ;

Have a re-read of paragraph b) of what you published and you will see that Israel is clearly in violation of such.

But of course, you seem only able to apply your logic and international laws to Jews, never to non-Jews.
