I am glad I read this. We spend the day installing a new computer in our home with new features and the technician gave me the choice between office 2003 and 2007 but advised me for 2003. We have windows vista but we will have to keep XP because our HP scanner, an excellent one bought in 2000 and capable of high quality scanning photos and slides cannot be configured with Vista. My husband has a huge collection of slides from his travels and also we have many slides form when the children were small and cute, and we bought the scanner for this special purpose but we didn't have the time to use it to scan our slides.
Thanks for your opinion on office 2007.

Must be Office 2004 for the Mac, based on Windows Office 2003. The 2008 Mac version is based on 2007 for Windows, which looks pretty good.

Apparently Office for Mac will be available in January 2008, named Office 2008. As far as I can tell there is no plan to port One Note to the Mac platform however most of its functionality is being ported to Mac Word 2008. It all looks very good.

Working on a number of projects simultaneously, each of which is high-profile and of an urgent nature so I have been getting in early every morning and working late every evening in the hope that I can break their back.

Don't I know it, even today with this bloody conference coming up. This Office and One Note - would it work with Mac?
