Yahoo! Not Dead Yet?

I’ve been spending a few minutes wondering why Yahoo turned down the Microsoft offer, on the face of it it seems like a foolish move considering their current market position. Then I saw this and realised they may be still in with a chance to make it on their own given that the next internet revolution is due on the mobile platform; but then again I’m slightly reminded of the AOL business plan with this. Its also missing one vital player in its partnership roll.

Sorry I thought you would notice that Skype were conspicuously missing from an integrated communications platform.

    Hmm, Yahoo… Skype… eBay…

Looks like there might be some consolidation there maybe?
