Re first comment, my intellect agrees, my instinct and experience don\’t.

The fact is that when somebody puts a point reasonably and logically it sinks without trace, when they aim to outrage they may alienate some but at least the comment gets noticed.

I’m facing what sounds like a very similar situation to you, which is why Pub Philosopher has become something of a sporadic blog.

I thought of packing in completely but then I thought, sod it, I’ve worked hard to write this blog and I still have a lot to say.

Yes, let me add my support to those sentiments, Wolfie too. It’s a busy time for you but do come back and on your next orbit, things should be worse, as you say.

Unfortunately, many might not see it, even then, due to the boiling frog principle.
